This is a very busy month. March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. We’ll be celebrating Dr.Seuss's Birthday by reading and making Oobleck!! We’ll learn about St. Patrick and why the shamrock was so important to him. We’ll paint shamrocks with our fingers and hands and get creative with a few more fun crafts for St. Patrick's Day. We’ll listen and dance to Irish music and hear a few stories too. Our class will be listening for the birds who’ll be returning from winter migration. We’ll focus on three special types of birds, Blue Jays, Cardinals, and Robins. The children will get to see real birds’ nests, and they’ll learn what unique items are used to make them. As we’re patiently waiting for the arrival of spring, we’ll continue discussing seasonal changes. We’ll talk about clouds, wind, weather changes and we’ll discover what objects can fly. Once spring has sprung, we’ll talk about the animals that were in hibernation and the animals that migrated during the winter. We have fun songs and activities planned to awake our hibernating friends from their winter slumber. At the end of the month, we will be discussing Dinosaurs and how they once lived on Earth.
We’ll be reviewing opposites such as, in and out, over and under, on and off, stop and go, empty and full. Along with introducing rhyming words such as hat bat, fox box, snail whale, bee key and dirt shirt.

Our Father Prayer
" Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, On earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread, And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” Amen
