Week of : 9/16/17

Math: We are working in chapter 1. In this chapter, we are learning to add through 10 using addition strategies.

Fundations: We are working in unit 1, reviewing letter identification, letter sounds, and letter formation.

ELA: 
Phonics - We are learning short a and inflectional ending -s.
Reading - The comprehension focus is on visualize and key details. The genre we are focusing on is realistic fiction. We will be reading stories this week and discussing visualization, key details, and realistic fiction characteristics.
High Frequence Words: does, not, school, what
Writing and Grammar: We are focusing on the characteristics of a sentence (upper case, punctuation, spaces, naming part, telling part). We are writing complete sentences.

Religion: Chapter 1 - God created the world and all people.
