Math: We are working in chapter 10, ​reading, making, and using tally charts and pictures graphs. We will take our chapter 10 test on Wednesday.

ELA - Unit 5 Week 1:

• Phonics - We are learning words with ar. We will read and spell words with ar. We will pluralize words that end in y by changing the y to i before adding -es.
• Reading - The comprehension focus is identifying the narrator. The genre we are focusing on is fantasy. We will be reading stories this week and discussing fantasy characteristics and identifying the narrator.
• High Frequence Words: four, large, none, only, put, round.
• Writing/Grammar: We are continuously practicing writing sentences and making sure our sentences have the correct mechanics. We will practice these skills by writing stories of our own choice. We are also learning about the characteristics of opinion texts and writing our own opinion pieces. In grammar, we are learning to use joining words to join sentences.
