As the end of the year approaches, we have some fun activities planned for the children. In Religion, we are looking forward to celebrating Mary. We will go up to the Mary statue that is here at the Preschool for a visit.
The May flowers and trees are in full bloom here on the St. Dorothy’s School Campus. We intend to get outside and see the plants, flowers, and tre
es in bloom. During the week of May 6, we plan to plant some grass seed and observe the changes the seeds will undergo over the next few weeks. The children always enjoy taking part in watering the grass seed and watching the grass grow.
In mid-May, we have the Mother’s Day Tea. The children are looking forward to spending some time with Mom or that special female figure in their lives.
As we move through May, we have some other fun activities planned. Some of these activities are learning about the Life Cycle of Butterflies, releasing the butterflies, and doing some beach-themed activities. We are looking forward to playing with parachutes and beach balls outside.
