Our Caterpillars are currently transitioning into beautiful butterflies. Our ladybugs are in the pupa life cycle stage, it will take about three days to two weeks for the adult ladybugs to emerge.
April showers have brought us May flowers! We’re enjoying the flowers and trees blooming right outside of our very own classroom windows and around St. Dorothy School. We’ll be planting grass seed, so be prepared to adopt a special classroom grown plant. We’re still looking and listening for birds who’ll be returning from their winter migration. This month will bring different zoo animals into our classroom through the Elmwood Park Zoo on Wheels and YouTube. We'll even watch the animals live through a Webcam from the San Diego Zoo. A virtual farm field trip will take place during the farm theme week. The end of the school year will come to an end with our beach theme, we’ll even visit the Turtle Hospital in Florida Via Zoom.
Keep a lookout for additional information regarding our end of year celebration.
Thank you for a wonderful school year, I hope everyone has a fun and safe summer.
Hail Mary
"Hail, Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death."
Amen.
