We will be learning about the Pilgrims, Native Americans and how they all celebrated the First Thanksgiving together. We will be playing Thanksgiving number bingo with a funny puppet named Mr. Turkey that loves to play! We will be reading stories about being thankful for what we have each day. We will have a feast with Native American music and a fun snack of cornbread with butter that we made.
We will continue to discuss the season of fall and all the changes that come. We will be watching the trees through our classroom windows and continuing on nature walks. Your child is welcome to bring in seasonal items such as leaves, pinecones, small pumpkins, gourds, and ornamental corn to our classroom. We can explore them with our 5 senses, under a magnifying glass and a microscope.

the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
