We have settled into our daily routines very nicely and the children have made some new friends! We will be learning about shapes, colors, numbers 0-5, and alphabet letters. Using crayons, markers, and scissors at home will help with fine motor skills. Please keep reviewing at home with your child.
We will be learning about the season of fall and all the changes that come. We will be watching the trees through our classroom windows and going on nature walks. Your child is welcome to bring in seasonal items such as leaves, pinecones, small pumpkins, gourds, and even Indian Corn to our classroom. We can explore them with magnifying glasses and a microscope.
We will also be getting ready for Halloween. The children will be painting with red and yellow to make a magical color orange. We will read lots of Halloween stories and one of my favorites is a flannel board story about a silly black cat who likes to change colors.

Our Father Prayer
“Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, On earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread, And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” Amen
Hail Mary
"Hail, Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death."
Amen.
