Hello Saint Dorothy Families!  My name is Kate Gross and I am so very excited to be teaching at Saint Dorothy School for my fourth year.

I have been a member of St. Dorothy parish for over 20 years.  My family has enjoyed being a part of the Saint Dorothy Community as students, alter servers, volunteers, coaches, athletes, and other roles.  Adding teacher to this list has been very special for me.

I attended LaSalle University for undergraduate and St. Joseph's University for graduate school.  I am certified in Elementary and Special Education and also as a Reading Specialist.  Before having children, I taught in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.  When my children were younger I worked part-time as a Pre-School teacher and also as a Math and Reading Interventionist at local schools.  Now that they are grown and all in college, I enjoy teaching kindergarten at St. Dorothy School.

I'm excited to meet all of you and working with you to make this a fabulous year.

 
 

My name is Janet McGowan. I am excited for the new school year and also to meet the students and their families.      This will be my 23rd year here at St. Dorothy's School as a Teacher's Aide for Kindergarten. I have also worked the CARES program for the last 20 years. I've been blessed to know so many wonderful families here at St. Dot's!

I look forward to the 2024/2025 school year!
