Meet Mrs. Berenato

Hello Second Grade Students and Families!
My name is Mrs. Carolyn Berenato, and I am so excited to begin my first-year teaching at St. Dot’s. I already feel so blessed to be a part of this wonderful school community, and I cannot wait to start this 2025-2026 school year!
Before becoming a teacher, I earned my bachelor’s degree in finance from Wagner College and my M.B.A. from La Salle University. While I loved my time in business, I discovered that my true calling was in education. I earned my M.Ed. in early childhood education from Cabrini University, and since then, I have devoted myself to creating welcoming, engaging, and positive learning environments for children.
When I am not in the classroom, I am spending time with my husband and our three children. We love going to the shore, skiing, and spending time outdoors. I also enjoy reading, cooking, and cheering on all Philadelphia sports teams!
I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to work with your children and watch them grow spiritually, academically, and socially. We are going to have a wonderful year, and I can’t wait to get started!
