I'm very excited to be part of St. Dorothy School. I am a product of the Catholic School System, from Holy Cross in Springfield to Archbishop Prendergast High School in Drexel Hill. I obtained my Early Childhood Degree in 2003 and have been working in the field ever since as an advocate for children. This will be my 19th year teaching Early Childhood and I love being the children's first experience with school!
My husband and I have been happily married for over fourteen years. Our children, thirteen and eleven, also attend a local Catholic School and are involved in CYO sports. Our family enjoys weekend camping trips, fishing, beaches and cruising. You can always find us outside playing sports and enjoying nature.
We are a family of giving as we enjoy donating our time as often as possible. My husband and I have coached many children's sports teams in the area and within a few local Catholic Schools. We also volunteer in our childrens school assisting with programs and activities. Our son volunteers his time at a local food pantry helping supply community families in need.
"Children are the most beautiful gift and blessing that the creator has given to man and woman. Children are never a mistake." - Pope Francis
As a current Saint Dorothy parent, I have had the great fortune to be a part of this community for the last five years.
My work experience has all been working for doctor offices greeting families, ordering scripts and coordinating appointments. I was fortunate to stay home and raise my young children and am now looking forward to spending time as a support teacher in the Pre-School classrooms. This will be my fourth year working at St. Dorothy Pre-School.
I currently live in Drexel Hill, PA with my husband Sean and our two children: Sean (5th grade), and Kiera (3rd grade.)
