My name is Steve Braun. This is my first year with St. Dorothy's and I couldn't be more excited to teach here. I have been an educator for 6 years now. Prior to St. Dorothy's I was a Long-Term Substitute in Social Studies, English, and Spanish at Springfield High School and E.T. Richardson Middle School. In my experience, I have dealt with students of every intelligence and ability. My philosophy is that EVERY STUDENT CAN LEARN, and I strongly believe in this. I have always challenged my students to become the very best students they can be, through differentiated instruction and most of all through COOPERATION and COMMUNICATION with parents/student guardians. Please if you have ANY questions or concerns email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I graduated from West Chester University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a Social Studies/English Teaching Certification. I have lived a VERY exciting and eventful life. I married the love of my life two years ago. I met her when I was sixteen and have been in love with her since the day we met. We were engaged on stage as our favorite band played. My daughter, Lily, was born in April 2015 and has been the light of my life. Before St. Dorothy's I used to work at Starbucks Coffee as a barista, although I actually hate coffee.
In my spare time (what little I have) I really enjoy writing. I have written a young adult book I am in the process of trying to get it published. I'm in the SLOW process of writing a second book, as well. I have a blog that I publish short stories too and children's poetry on. I will paste the link below. Again, if you have ANY questions, concerns, or if there is anything I can help with please, PLEASE email me. I am always available before and after school for help. I look forward to a fantastic year.
