Dear 7th grade students and families:

Hi, I’m Mrs. LaTassa, and I am so excited to meet you!

This is my first year teaching at St. Dorothy School. For the past 22 years, I've worked in higher education, teaching at Ursinus College; University of Maryland; and Temple University. You may wonder why I chose to pursue a career teaching in Catholic school, and to that I say--there simply wasn't enough God in my college classroom. As someone who has spent her entire life attending Catholic school and devoutly attending Mass, I realized recently that these traditions are such a huge part of who I am. Therefore, I want so much to talk about all that is good--and all that is GOD--in my Saint Dot's classroom.

I will be teaching ELA and Social Studies this year! I am so very communicative and want your child to have a really good experience with me, so if there's anything I need to know about them regarding their learning, please let me know!
