ALL PARENT VOLUNTERS MUST SIGN THE LUNCH MONITOR SHEET IN THE MAIN SCHOOL OFFICE AND CHECK THEIR ASSIGNED LOCATION ON A GIVEN DAY.
Children eat their lunch in the annex. In the event of inclement weather, the children may eat in their classrooms.
No student is permitted to go back into the main building at lunchtime without direct supervision. If a child forgets to bring his/her lunch to the annex, a lunch volunteer will escort the child back to the school.
If a student forgets to bring his/her lunch to school, it may be dropped off at the school office. Please write the student's name, grade and room number on the lunch.

Sign the lunch monitor sheet in the main office and bring the hand bell to school lot outdoors. Check the Burmont Road driveway entrance to ensure the yellow chain is up to prevent cars from entering the lot during recess hours. Parent helpers should be spread throughout the school lot so all children can be observed. No students are permitted where cars are parked (beyond the yellow dashed lines marking the lunch recess border) or beyond the hill leading to the convent or behind the trees and hill at the far end of the lot. Students should be in full view at all times.
Ring the hand bell (located on the front counter in the main office) at the end of the lunch period at 12:05pm and 12:20pm signaling students to line up for their teachers to escort them back to class or to the Annex for lunch.
In the event there is a medical or any type of emergency, call 911 immediately. For minor cuts and scrapes a student may be escorted into the main office for minor medical care (e.g. band aids, etc). Inform the classroom teacher of any injury a student may have incurred during recess.
Students are not permitted to use the bathroom facilities unless it cannot be avoided and must be approved by a recess monitor.
