Dear Parents,
 
In order to help prepare your child for Kindergarten, we strongly recommend using the “Summer Bridge Activities” for pre-K going to K. The book covers skills in reading, writing, math, and language. Your child is not required to complete every page. We encourage you to focus on the skills that your child needs reinforced.
 
We would suggest you review the following with your child to better prepare him/her for what will be expected in August:

• Letter recognition (upper and lower case), letter sound correspondence
• Printing first and last name using correct case 
• Color words
• Counting to 30 and recognition of numbers 1 - 30
• Shapes
