In order to ensure the safety of all students, 1B is a peanut free classroom. Please refrain from sending in any foods with peanuts/peanut butter in the classroom for snack time. Please refer to the snack safety guide for allergy-free snack choices.  Thank you for your help in making 1B a safe learning environment!

Communication is key! I make every effort to stay in contact with parents throughout the year. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me!

• You can contact me at apavlovitch@stdots.com I try to check my email 2-3 times a day: before school/early morning, after lunch, and the end of the day. Please allow 24-48 hours for a response as the days do get busy.
• You are also welcome to send a note with your child. Please put teh note in their daily folder and make sure they are aware that there is a note for me.
• I can also be reached via the school office at 610-789-4100. I will return your call as soon as possible. 
   

Please review the uniform requirements.  Just a friendly reminder that beginning in first grade boys wear a belt and tie.  If your child is chilly in the classroom they may only wear their school sweater Monday through Thursday and on Friday may wear a gym sweatshirt. Socks on gym days should only be black, grey or white.
 
Girls K-4

• Summer: Plaid shorts, green polo or jumper and white blouse
• Winter:
  • knee length plaid jumper
  • white blouse with Peter Pan collar
  • green cardigan sweater (optional)
  • Green school knee socks, or (green, black, navy) ankle socks, tights (green, navy, black)

• Summer: grey uniform shorts, green polo, belt
• Winter:
  • grey uniform pants
  • white dress shirt
  • belt
  • green pullover sweater
  • uniform tie
  • black, grey or white socks

• Shoes: Boys/Girls - Tan or black non-skid sole shoes that lace are required. Tan or black bucks or Sperry's are preferred. No designs or colors are permitted. For the boys, solid brown or black Merrills are permitted. Please make sure all shoes are non-skid

• Gym: Regular Sneakers are permitted on gym days only. No light-ups, wheels, etc.

• Gym Uniform -
  • School sweatsuit consisting of long sweatpants, T-shirt, and sweatshirt with the Saint Dorothy School logo, in Fall/Winter season. 
  • In Spring/Summer season, the pants may be replaced by dark green uniform shorts with the Saint Dorothy School logo.This year the new logo is required. 
  • Students are not permitted to wear CYO attire or other St.Dorothy attire. 
  • All students are required to wear plain white, grey or black solid colored ankle socks. NO SPORT SOCKS. Gym uniforms can be purchased at C&M Sporting Goods which is located in the Manoa Shopping Center.
