At St. Dorothy, we are fortunate to have many families, teachers and friends in our greater community willing to donate their time on occasions like this one. From the sponsorship donations, raffle items, dinners and baked goods that were prepared, to filling over 200 volunteer positions throughout the week, we offer our heartfelt thanks to you, the St. Dorothy Parish and School Community, for your generosity. Your participation in events like the Oktoberfest Fair has a direct impact on our Parish and school. Without your help this fair would not be possible. We hope everyone had a wonderful week!

Reminder: Baked Goods/Individual Treats
Anyone interested in making baked goods, cookies, sweets or any type of individually wrapped treats for the Oktoberfest Fair may drop off your donation at the rectory any day/night of the fair at the kitchen or bakery table. This is always a popular spot for the kids to pick up affordable treats. As always, thank you for your ongoing support!!
Sponsorship helps defray the cost of running the fair. Sponsors and will be reconized on the sponsorship banners hung at the food court, through our school and parish community, as well as, listed on the school website.

Over a decade ago, after facing major budgetary constraints, The St. Dorothy Development Committee was formed and the first St. Dorothy Oktoberfest Fair was proposed. The fair and Annual Fund saved a number of faculty positions and eliminated the need to combine multiple classrooms.
The fair not only continues to help our school thrive financially by limiting tuition increases and covers the cost of many infrastructure improvements, but it has become a neighborhood tradition here and in the surrounding communities.
We would like to thank the numerous sponsors of this event for their generous donations through the years. Also, without the St. Dorothy families donating the hugely successful grade level raffle baskets, as well as, filling over 200 volunteer positions, this fair could not continue.
As we have said in the past, this event is a huge undertaking, but every year it continues to be a memorable and successful event thanks to all of you!
